Who Can Participate in the YAC?
Are you a Columbus-area teenager with a passion for philanthropy, an interest in public health, or simply a desire to help those in need? Then YAC membership is for you! Any Greater Columbus area student in grades 8-12 can become a member of the Youth Advisory Council (YAC). Click the below to download the YAC Membership Application or call

Benefits of YAC Membership
Many programs to improve the health and wellness of youth are created by organizations without the input of the very individuals these programs are designed to help. The YAC provides area youth with the opportunity to learn about (and help create) health programs that affect not only themselves but their peers as well.
The YAC fosters an understanding of philanthropic funding while teaching valuable lessons about successful grantmaking and stewardship of charitable resources.
Additionally, participation in the YAC can be counted toward fulfilling community service credit hour requirements for graduation. For more information, contact
Erica Womack, Ph.D.
